Uklon acquired the e-scooter operator e-Wings

Uklon has closed a deal to acquire 100% of the corporate rights of e-Wings, an electric scooter operator, for 97.6 million hryvnias. This was announced by Uklon, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
“On August 7, 2026, Uklon announced the closing of a deal to acquire 100% of the corporate rights of the electric scooter operator e-Wings. The transaction amount was 97.6 million hryvnias before adjustments,” the statement reads.
The e-Wings electric scooter operator is present in 11 cities: Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Odesa, Kremenchuk, Sumy, Horishni Plavni, Drohobych, as well as in Zolochiv, Ternopil, Irpin, and Chernihiv. The total fleet of connected electric scooters is approximately 3,000.
The acquisition of e-Wings marks Uklon’s first-ever business acquisition in its history, according to the IT service company Uklon.
Uklon CEO Serhiy Hryshkov called the deal a landmark moment for Uklon.
“For the first time in our history, we are scaling up through M&A, and we are doing so deliberately, choosing a direction that strengthens our ecosystem,” he commented.

To develop this new direction, the company has formed a separate business unit—Micromobility—headed by e-Wings co-founder Roman Motruk as Head of Micromobility.
He is responsible for the strategic development of the micromobility division and for identifying synergies with other services within the Uklon ecosystem.
Oleg Bilyi, co-founder of e-Wings who was previously responsible for operations, has taken on the role of Head of Micromobility Operations and will oversee key operational business processes.
The division’s team is now under the leadership of Vadym Ishchenko, Uklon’s Chief Operating Officer, who is responsible for developing an ecosystem of new products and services. In total, more than 20 people from the e-Wings team have joined Uklon.
During the transition period, the electric scooter rental service will continue to operate through the e-Wings app in all 11 cities where it is available. At the same time, Uklon has already begun the process of integrating the micromobility service into its eponymous app.
According to the financial report published by Kyivstar Group Ltd., Uklon’s total revenue in the second quarter of 2026 amounted to $32.8 million, which is 51% more than in the same period last year.
The Ukrainian micromobility operator e-Wings was founded in Lviv in 2020. According to the company, as of 2024, its fleet consisted of 3,000 scooters across nine cities. For 2025, e-Wings announced a goal to scale up to 10,000 scooters in 20 cities.
The e-Wings electric scooter rental service will be integrated into the Uklon app. For the company, this effectively marks its entry into the micromobility segment and a logical expansion of its own urban transportation ecosystem.
Uklon’s interest in this market has been known for some time. Back in the summer of 2025, Scroll.media reported that the company was in talks with Jet—one of the largest electric scooter operators in Ukraine alongside Bolt. At the time, Uklon confirmed negotiations with several market players but did not name specific companies. According to the publication, Uklon expected to acquire the business for approximately $7 million, while Jet valued it at $10 million.
The electric scooter market in Ukraine already has several major players with their own fleets, infrastructure, and digital services. For example, Bolt operates in 12 Ukrainian cities, including Kyiv and 10 other regional centers.
