For the first time in 100 years, a Ukrainian ballroom dance couple has won gold at the legendary Blackpool Dance Festival

At the iconic Blackpool Dance Festival, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, a professional couple from Ukraine won for the first time in the event’s history. Stanislav Portanenko and Natalia Kolyada took home the gold and were crowned champions in the most prestigious category, Professional Ballroom, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
The festival traditionally took place in the UK—at the famous Winter Gardens complex in the Blackpool resort .
