Ukrainian volleyball teams head to the Euroleague final four

Ukraine’s men’s and women’s volleyball teams are confidently marching through the Golden Euroleague. After four rounds, both Ukrainian teams are in third place in the championship, which allows them to qualify for the final four, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
The Ukrainian men’s national team did not have a perfect weekend. On Saturday, 25 May, Ukraine lost to the Czech Republic with a score of 1-3 (22:25, 25:23, 15:25, 22:25). But on Sunday, our team defeated Luxembourg 3-0 (25:16, 25:19, 25:20).
Thus, after four rounds, the men’s national team of Ukraine ranks third in the championship. Each of the teams has two matches left to play – after that, the teams that take the first four places will fight for victory.
The women’s national team is also in third place, but has an even better result than the men, as they have won all their matches. On Saturday, the Ukrainian women defeated Slovakia 3-0 (25:20, 25:21, 25:11), and on Sunday, they lost one set to Austria 3-1 (25:22, 20:25, 25:14, 26:24).
The Ukrainian national team is in third place and, under favourable circumstances, can qualify for the final four in the penultimate round. It will not be easy to do so, as the Ukrainians will meet the team ahead of them in the standings, the Czech Republic.
