Utility workers are working on repairs

Following the strike on energy infrastructure, emergency crews are working around the clock. In the Mykolaiv region, this is not the first attack on energy facilities in recent days.

On April 29, Russia also attacked an energy facility in the Mykolaiv region with a Shahed drone. At that time, some residents of the Mykolaiv district lost power, and restoration work began immediately after the strike.

The day before, Vitaliy Kim stated that Mykolaiv’s energy infrastructure had been under Russian attack for the second day in a row. According to him, energy workers were working on repairs, and at that time, there were no reports of casualties in the city.

What is known about the power situation

Following the attacks, some communities may experience localized power outages. Authorities and utility workers are urging residents to follow official announcements from the regional power company and not to spread unverified information.

If the power grid or equipment is damaged as a result of the strikes, power will be restored after emergency repairs are completed and provided that repair crews have safe access to the sites.
