The dollar has risen in value: The NBU has set the official exchange rate for June 18

The National Bank of Ukraine has published the official exchange rates for Thursday, June 18, 2026. The U.S. dollar rose slightly, the euro fell slightly, and the Polish zloty remained virtually unchanged. This information is available on the NBU’s official website, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"

NBU Official Exchange Rates for June 18

The National Bank of Ukraine has set the following official exchange rates:

  • 1 U.S. dollar — 44.81 UAH;
  • 1 euro — 51.93 UAH;
  • 1 Polish zloty — approximately 12.25 UAH.

These rates are used for accounting purposes, for the NBU’s transactions with the State Treasury Service, and in other cases specified by law.

Dollar Exchange Rate

The official U.S. dollar exchange rate as of June 18 is 44.81 UAH.

Compared to the previous day, the dollar has risen in value by about 2 kopecks. This indicates a slight weakening of the hryvnia against the U.S. currency.

Despite daily fluctuations, the situation on the foreign exchange market remains relatively stable. Changes in the dollar exchange rate have not been drastic so far.

Euro exchange rate

The official euro exchange rate as of June 18 is 51.93 UAH.

Compared to the previous figure, the European currency has depreciated by approximately 1 kopeck. Thus, the hryvnia has strengthened slightly against the euro.

Earlier, the euro exchange rate in Ukraine had been hitting new highs, but a moderate correction followed.

Zloty exchange rate

The official Polish zloty exchange rate as of June 18 is approximately 12.25 UAH.

Changes compared to the previous day remain minimal. The Polish currency remains relatively stable against the hryvnia.

The zloty remains an important currency for Ukrainians due to frequent travel, work, study, and money transfers between Ukraine and Poland.

What’s Happening on the Interbank Market

On the interbank foreign exchange market, the hryvnia’s exchange rate against the dollar is close to the NBU’s official rate.

According to market data, the dollar traded within the range of approximately 44.80–44.83 UAH, while the euro traded around 51.94–51.96 UAH.

These figures indicate moderate fluctuations without any sharp spikes.
