Temperatures in Ukraine will reach 35 degrees: Weather forecast for June 27

On Saturday, June 27, mostly dry and hot weather is expected in Ukraine. In most regions, daytime temperatures will range from 25 to 30 degrees, but in the west of the country, temperatures will reach 29 to 34 degrees. This is according to forecasts from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, as reported by "Komersant Ukrainian"
The highest temperatures are forecast for Zakarpattia and in some parts of other western regions. There, temperatures may rise to 35 degrees.
No precipitation is expected across most of the country. Only in the northeast are light, brief showers possible in some areas during the day.
What will the weather be like in Ukraine on June 27?
According to the forecast by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, dry weather will prevail in Ukraine on Saturday.
Most regions will be partly cloudy or have variable cloud cover. Meteorologists do not forecast any significant precipitation.
The exception will be certain areas of the northeast, where light, brief showers may occur during the day.
Winds are expected to be predominantly from the northwest, at speeds of 5–10 meters per second.
Where will it be hottest?
The highest temperatures on June 27 are expected in the western regions.
Daytime temperatures there are forecast to range from 29 to 34 degrees.
In Zakarpattia and in some parts of the western region, temperatures may reach 35 degrees.
In particular, it will be hot in:
- Transcarpathian Oblast;
- Lviv Oblast;
- Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast;
- Chernivtsi Oblast;
- Ternopil Oblast;
- Volyn Oblast;
- Rivne Oblast;
- Khmelnytskyi Oblast.
In Lviv, daytime temperatures are expected to reach around 32–34 degrees, and in some parts of the region, temperatures may rise to 35 degrees.
Temperatures at Night and During the Day
At night, the air temperature in most regions will be 13–18 degrees.
It will be warmer in the south of the country and in Zakarpattia—up to 21 degrees.
Daytime temperatures are expected to be:
- in most regions—25–30 degrees;
- in the western regions—29–34 degrees;
- in parts of Zakarpattia—up to 35 degrees;
- in the northeast — slightly cooler due to possible cloud cover and rain.
Thus, Saturday will be one of the hottest days at the end of June.
Where Rain Is Possible
Rain is forecast for June 27 only in isolated areas of northeastern Ukraine.
Light, brief rain may occur in:
- Sumy Oblast;
- Kharkiv Oblast;
- parts of northern Luhansk Oblast;
- certain areas of Chernihiv Oblast.
No significant precipitation is expected in other regions.
Rainfall will be localized, so weather conditions may vary even within a single region.
Weather in Kyiv on June 27
Dry and hot weather is expected in Kyiv on Saturday.
Overnight temperatures will range from 16 to 18 degrees.
During the day, temperatures will reach 28–30 degrees.
No significant precipitation is forecast for the capital. The wind will be predominantly northwesterly and moderate.
Due to the heated asphalt, concrete, and dense urban development, temperatures in the city center may feel higher.
Weather in the Kyiv Region
In the Kyiv region, June 27 will also be without significant precipitation.
Overnight temperatures are forecast to be 13–18 degrees.
During the day, temperatures will range from 25 to 30 degrees.
The weather will be ideal for travel and outdoor recreation, but during the hottest hours of the day, it’s best to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
What will the weather be like in the south?
In the southern regions, Saturday will also be hot and mostly dry.
Overnight, temperatures will range from approximately 17 to 21 degrees.
Daytime highs are expected to reach 27–31 degrees.
The highest temperatures are possible in:
- Odesa Oblast;
- Mykolaiv Oblast;
- Kherson Oblast;
- Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
In coastal areas, temperatures may be slightly lower due to the influence of the Black Sea.
Weather in the central regions
Dry weather with variable cloud cover is forecast for central Ukraine.
During the day, temperatures will reach 26–30 degrees.
It will be hot in:
- Vinnytsia Oblast;
- Cherkasy Oblast;
- Kirovohrad Oblast;
- Poltava Oblast;
- Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
No significant precipitation is expected in most of the central regions.
Weather in the East
In the eastern regions, temperatures will be slightly lower than in the west.
Daytime highs are forecast to be around 24–29 degrees.
Short-lived showers are possible in some areas, primarily in the Kharkiv and Luhansk regions.
Due to local precipitation and cloud cover, temperatures in some areas may be a few degrees lower.
Will temperatures reach 40 degrees?
As of June 27, the official forecast does not predict temperatures reaching 40 degrees.
Saturday’s highs are expected to reach around 35 degrees.
At the same time, the heat is forecast to intensify further on June 28–30 due to the influx of hot air from southern and western Europe.
Some forecast models suggest local readings close to 38–40 degrees, but these figures will need to be refined closer to the relevant dates.
