27 June 01:41
Former Minister of Energy and Justice Herman Galushchenko has paid 105 million hryvnia of the 150 million hryvnia bail set by the court. According to “Schemes, ” the money was transferred by three private companies: “Tetrass Optima,” “Giran Contract,” and “Sky Retail,” reports "Komersant Ukrainian"
Journalists noted that the published financial figures for these companies do not correspond to the scale of the amounts paid.
Since the full amount of the bail had not been paid as of June 26, Galushchenko remains in custody.
How much bail was posted for Galushchenko
The High Anti-Corruption Court had previously reduced Herman Galushchenko’s bail from 200 million to 150 million hryvnias.
As of Friday, June 26, 105 million hryvnias had been paid, or 70% of the amount set by the court.
Another 45 million hryvnias were still needed to reach the full bail amount.
Since the bail was not paid in full, the former minister remains in pretrial detention.
Who Contributed the Largest Amount
The largest payment was made by the company “Tetrass Optima.” It transferred 54 million hryvnias.
The company’s main business is the wholesale trade of timber, building materials, and plumbing fixtures.
The company’s owner is listed as Tetyana Linnikova, a resident of the Kharkiv region.
According to “Schemes,” the company’s most recent available annual financial report is for 2023. At that time, the company reported 35,600 UAH in net profit.
Thus, the amount of the bail posted is approximately 1,500 times greater than the company’s reported net profit for that year.
Journalists also found that in 2026, “Tetris Optima” was the defendant in a case regarding the collection of tax debt.
The amount in question was about 4,000 UAH.
At the same time, the company was able to transfer 54 million UAH as bail for the former minister.
Company representatives have not publicly explained the source of the funds or the reason for their involvement in posting the bail.

The Halushchenko Case
As a reminder, on February 17, 2026, the court imposed a pretrial measure on former Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko—detention for a period of 60 days from the date of his actual arrest until April 15, with the possibility of bail set at 200 million hryvnias.
On February 15, 2026, Galushchenko was detained by NABU detectives while attempting to leave Ukraine. Investigators allege that he is involved in Operation “Midas,” which concerns the embezzlement of funds at “Energoatom.”
Law enforcement authorities notified the former energy minister that he is suspected of committing criminal offenses under Part 2 of Article 255 and Part 3 of Article 209 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
On November 19, 2025, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine passed a resolution dismissing Minister of Justice Herman Galushchenko and Minister of Energy Svitlana Hrynchuk amid a corruption scandal in the energy sector.
Galushchenko served as Minister of Energy from 2021 to 2025, and from July 17 to November 19, 2025, he served as Minister of Justice.
He was dismissed from the government amid the scandal surrounding Operation “Midas.” The NABU case, known as “Midas,” concerns large-scale corruption in the energy sector, which, according to the investigation, was co-organized by businessman Timur Mindich.
