“Ukrzaliznytsia” announced changes to train schedules due to an ongoing attack: what options are available

Due to the ongoing air raid alert in the Kyiv region, Ukrzaliznytsia has changed the morning schedules of commuter trains on the Fastiv–Kyiv route. Passengers are being offered alternative trains. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing Ukrzaliznytsia.

“Due to the prolonged heightened threat to the Kyiv region, we are making operational changes to the region’s commuter train schedule,” the statement reads.

Which trains are running

This morning, passengers traveling on the Fastiv–Kyiv route are advised to use the following substitute trains:

  • Trains No. 6006 and No. 6008 (Fastiv-1 – Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi) have been replaced by Train No. 7030 (Fastiv-1 – Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi);
  • Trains No. 6005 and No. 6011 Kyiv-Passenger – Fastiv-1 have been replaced by Train No. 7029 Kyiv-Passenger – Fastiv-1.

Passengers are advised to monitor the carrier’s official channels and listen for announcements directly at departure stations.

The company explained that commuter train service will return to its regular schedule immediately after the air raid alert ends.

“Stay safe and remain in safe places,” Ukrzaliznytsia stated.

Drone Attack on the Kyiv Region

Meanwhile, since early this morning, the enemy has been attacking Brovary in the Kyiv region. Civilian infrastructure in the Brovary district has been damaged by enemy strikes.

According to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Russian drones have damaged an office building, a private home, and warehouse facilities. Preliminary reports indicate there are no casualties.
