According to Ukrzaliznytsia, information about delays is constantly updated, so passengers are advised to check the current status of their trip on the UZ Vezemo service before traveling.
Commuter trains are also operating with restrictions
Due to the aftermath of the Russian attack, commuter train service toward Fastiv has also been disrupted.
In cooperation with the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, railway officials are organizing a shuttle bus service between Boyarka and Kyiv to ensure passenger transportation.
Why the changes occurred
Train service was altered following Russia’s overnight combined attack on Kyiv and the Kyiv region.
As a result of the Russian strike on the capital, people were killed, dozens were injured, and residential buildings and infrastructure were damaged.
Damage and casualties were also reported in the Kyiv region. Due to safety concerns on certain sections of the track, emergency services have temporarily restricted rail traffic, which has led to changes in the schedules of some trains.
Ukrzaliznytsia has assured the public that it is doing everything possible to restore normal service as quickly as possible and urges passengers to follow official announcements.
