84% of young people want to leave Ukraine, and it’s not because of the war, says Dligach

An increasing number of young Ukrainians do not see a future for themselves in Ukraine.

Andriy Dligach, a professor and head of the Center for Social Change and Behavioral Economics, spoke about this on the "Komersant Ukrainian" YouTube channel .

According to him, most young people are considering moving abroad not only because of the war or economic problems.

“84% of young people prefer to leave Ukraine not because there is a war here, but primarily because they do not see a bright future,” Dligach noted.

In his opinion, this poses a serious threat to the country’s future.

“But it’s encouraging that teenagers don’t adapt in the West and dream of returning. Young adults, on the other hand, do adapt. They find jobs, make friends, and stay there,” he concluded.
