ATB Will Stop Buying Ads in “Trukha”: Company Statement

2 August 15:12

The ATB-Market grocery store chain announced that it has ended its partnership with the Telegram channel “Truha”—it has no plans to continue placing advertisements on this platform. The company’s press office reported this on Facebook, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

“Earlier this year, ATB-Market signed a contract to place advertising materials on the ‘Truha’ Telegram channel. However, in light of recent events and feedback from the public, the company has decided to terminate its partnership with this media outlet,” the statement reads.

The company promised to move its advertising to other communication channels.

As a reminder, former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov stated at a briefing that he was the target of media attacks and specifically highlighted posts on the “Truha” channel.

“Why has ‘Trukha’ started working against me since it was bought for a billion hryvnias? Why did ‘Trukha’ start writing about the TCC and deliberately link me to all the cases involving the TCC? Who bought ‘Trukha’?” Fedorov asked.
