Following the Air Force’s briefing: Zelenskyy issued a warning about an attack tonight

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that there is a high probability of a massive Russian strike on Ukrainian territory on the night of July 30. This conclusion was reached following a report from the commander of the Ukrainian Air Force. The head of state announced this on social media, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
The head of state urged Ukrainians to pay close attention to air raid alerts and called on international partners not to delay the delivery of missiles for the Patriot air defense systems.
What Zelenskyy Said
According to the president, Russian troops have been preparing for a possible massive strike over the past few days.
“There is a high probability of a massive strike tonight,” Zelenskyy said following a briefing by the Air Force commander.
At the same time, the head of state did not specify exactly what types of air attack capabilities Russia might use or which regions are under the greatest threat.
The president urged citizens in all regions of Ukraine to pay close attention to danger alerts.
According to him, it is especially important tonight to:
- not to ignore air raid sirens;
- to take cover immediately;
- to follow official announcements from military administrations and the Air Force;
- not to share information about the operations of Ukraine’s air defense forces.
Zelenskyy emphasized that following safety rules can save lives.
The President addressed partners regarding the Patriot system
The head of state paid special attention to the issue of strengthening Ukraine’s air defense.
According to him, international partners are well aware of exactly what equipment Ukraine needs right now.
The president noted that this applies first and foremost to the United States and other countries that possess missiles for the Patriot systems.
“The protection of people’s lives directly depends on whether or not they are willing to provide missiles for air defense,” Zelenskyy emphasized.
