Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia: one district is without power

7 June 09:15

A fire broke out following a Russian military strike on Zaporizhzhia. Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration (RMA), reported this on Telegram late Saturday night, June 7. Emergency services have been dispatched to the scene.

Due to the attack, one of the districts was partially left without electricity. Power engineers are already working to restore power to consumers, Fedorov noted.

According to his posts, the enemy attempted to attack the region throughout the night. In particular, there was a threat of drones, guided bombs, and even an alert was issued due to the threat of ballistic missiles.

As of this morning, the occupiers continued their attacks across the region, including Zaporizhzhia.

It should be noted that the Russians regularly attack Zaporizhzhia, using various weapons in their attacks. For example, last night, the city’s critical and industrial infrastructure came under fire from the occupiers. Additionally, a fire broke out near a residential building as a result of a drone strike.
