Following massive Russian strikes on Ukraine’s logistics and commercial infrastructure, the government is holding a series of urgent consultations with business representatives. The Cabinet of Ministers is already working on measures designed to ensure the uninterrupted operation of businesses, stable supplies of goods, and financial support for companies.
He announced this on his Telegram page, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
Koretsky Held an Emergency Meeting with Business Leaders
According to the head of government, the meeting was attended by representatives of:
- the business community;
- retail chains;
- logistics companies.
The main topic was the operations of businesses following Russian attacks on warehouse complexes, logistics centers, and manufacturing facilities.
“Russia is systematically striking enterprises that supply goods to millions of Ukrainians. Our task is to prevent disruptions in the supply of food, medicine, and other essential goods, especially to regions near the front lines,” said Serhiy Koretskyi.
What measures is the government preparing?
During the meeting, the parties discussed specific mechanisms that will allow businesses to continue operating stably even amid constant attacks.
In particular, the government is working on the following areas:
- supporting the uninterrupted operation of logistics companies;
- ensuring stable supplies of essential goods;
- decentralizing international logistics;
- expanding the customs corridor;
- supporting businesses through financial instruments.
Businesses may be provided with credit support
Financial assistance to businesses will be a separate focus area.
The Prime Minister announced that a separate meeting will take place in the near future with:
- the leadership of the National Bank of Ukraine;
- representatives of the banking sector;
- relevant ministries.
During the meeting, they plan to discuss mechanisms for providing credit support to Ukrainian businesses.
War Risks and New Storage Facilities
Another important issue will be insurance against military risks.
According to Koretsky, the government is counting on the support of international partners in creating effective insurance mechanisms for Ukrainian companies.
The government is also prepared to grant businesses priority access to available facilities to decentralize warehousing capacity. This should help minimize losses in the event of repeated attacks.
Support for farmers has already begun
The Prime Minister also noted that the Cabinet of Ministers has already approved the first package of emergency support for the agricultural sector following Russian attacks in the Black Sea.
According to him, the decision should help Ukrainian producers resume sales and exports of their products despite the challenging security situation.
The government assures that it will continue to respond promptly to new challenges facing the Ukrainian economy and businesses.
Which companies were affected
During the massive attack, facilities belonging to a number of large Ukrainian companies were damaged or completely destroyed.
In particular, the following incidents were previously reported:
- the complete destruction of the “Nova Poshta” sorting center;
- the destruction of Epicenter’s logistics complexes and production facilities;

Ensuring the uninterrupted operation of these companies will be one of the main issues in the government’s consultations.
