Ukraine’s Bulava strike and reconnaissance system, developed by DeViro, is already performing combat missions and confidently displacing Russian drones from the sky. This was announced by the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov on his Telegram channel, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
According to the official, the Bulava is superior to the Russian Lancet UAV in key respects. In particular, it is capable of destroying high-priority targets, such as electronic warfare equipment, Buk-M and Tor anti-aircraft missile systems, and hitting both stationary and moving objects.
A special feature of the system is the ability to confirm the defeat of targets in real time using video. Other characteristics remain classified for security reasons.
The drone’s warhead weighs 3.6 kg, can stay in the air for up to 50 minutes, and has a range of up to 60 km.
“Not long ago, the Russian Lancet dominated the sky. Today, it is being replaced by the developments of the members of the Brave1 defense innovation cluster. “Bulava is already operating at the front and demonstrating its effectiveness,” noted Fedorov.
As a reminder, in May, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine approved more than 130 new models of weapons and equipment for operation. Among them is another Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle, Volyniaka, which has already been officially codified and authorized for service in the Armed Forces.
