Due to the Russian Federation’s attack: Odesa’s power grid has been severely damaged

9 August 11:21

On the night of August 9, Russia attacked the Odesa region, damaging power facilities. The damage was severe, so restoring power will take time. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing DTEK.

The energy company noted that Russian troops carried out one of the largest attacks on the Odesa region this year. The shelling damaged energy facilities.

Some households in the Odesa region, particularly in the Primorsky, Khadzhibey, and Peresyp districts of Odesa, were left without power. Critical infrastructure facilities were also left without power.

DTEK emphasized that the damage is severe, so repairs will take time.

“The damage is serious, and repairs will take time. Power utility workers throughout the Odesa region are doing everything possible to restore power as quickly as possible,” the company stated.
