Will there be a power outage on April 19? A statement from Ukrenergo
19 April 00:21
On Sunday, April 19, Ukraine does not plan to impose restrictions on electricity consumption. Energy officials are asking people to use high-power appliances during daytime hours.
This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing “Ukrenergo.”
Recommendations for consumers
Despite the absence of planned power outages, experts are urging citizens to follow the rules of rational energy consumption.
In particular, it is advisable to use appliances between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
At the same time, Ukrainians are asked to limit the use of high-power electrical appliances during peak load hours on the power grid—from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
As a reminder, in early April, Ukraine resumed implementing power rationing schedules. Ukrenergo explained that the main reason was a power shortage in the grid caused by the effects of massive Russian shelling.
