Denmark to hand over all its artillery to Ukraine

Denmark will transfer all the artillery it has in stock to Ukraine. This was stated by Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen during the 7th Ukrainian Lunch in Munich, according to

Mette Frederiksen called on other European countries to do the same and give Ukraine their air defence equipment and ammunition, as it needs it more now.

“Ukraine is asking for a lot of artillery. On behalf of Denmark, we have decided to donate all available artillery. We see that Europe still has stocks. There are also air defence systems that we do not use and that we should give to Ukraine. We should not be pessimistic, we need to resolve this situation,”

– said Mette Frederiksen.

She also agreed that European countries need to increase the production of shells, and Frederiksen recalled how she had recently attended the opening of a new ammunition factory in Germany.

The Danish prime minister stressed that no matter what happens in the United States, Europe is responsible for Europe.

By the way, the Spanish government intends to provide Ukraine with a new military aid package. It will include armoured vehicles and light ships.

And NATO countries are planning to provide Ukraine with one million drones as part of military aid.
