Diia.Business has launched a grant program for the military and their families

Veterans and families of military personnel will be able to participate in the educational grant program Diia.Business Trajectory 2 and receive grants to start their own businesses. This is reported on the project’s website, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
It is noted that veterans will be able to effectively apply their military experience in business, while gaining knowledge, psychological and financial support. This will help improve the country’s economic level, increase the number of veteran-owned businesses, and contribute to the formation of a dynamic veteran community, the organizers assure.
The training will last 2 months and consist of 4 educational modules. Individual mentoring will be available for 68 winners.
The total financial support fund is UAH 20 million.
In the category “Beginner in Business”, 44 participants will receive UAH 200 thousand each. The winner in this category, who will receive UAH 1 million, will be determined at the Grand Pitch Day. Two participants of the joint lecture will receive UAH 100 thousand each.
The Experienced Entrepreneur category will involve 20 participants for UAH 400,000 each, and the winner of this category will be determined at the Grand Pitch Day, which will receive UAH 2 million.
Taxes and duties will be withheld from the specified amounts of financial support received by the project winners in accordance with the laws of Ukraine.
Who is the program for?
- Veterans
- Family members of a veteran, serviceman, deceased, captured or missing person, including the second spouse, parents, children, including adopted children, brothers and sisters.
How to get into the program
All participants who have applied are invited to the joint lecture after being selected by an independent jury.
The best 230 participants are grouped together for an intensive lecture.
After filling out the registration form, all registered participants will receive an email within 3-5 days with information about their assignment to the general or intensive lecture. The assignment of participants to a particular group depends on the quality of the presentation and compliance with the evaluation criteria set out in the official project rules.
