To ensure safe operations, Comfy has diversified its warehouses and optimized its logistics

In order to minimize risks, Comfy has diversified its warehouse infrastructure and optimized the operations of its logistics centers, Oleg Feshchenko, Comfy’s Deputy CEO for Distribution and Logistics, said in a comment to “Interfax-Ukraine,” according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
“Diversifying our warehouse infrastructure (across regions) is the key systemic solution we implemented at the very start of the full-scale invasion. We have now minimized the amount of inventory held at the distribution center, and it currently operates primarily as a cross-dock platform—receiving and immediately shipping goods to the chain’s stores without storing them on the distribution center’s premises,” he said.
The company has also reduced the number of shifts and the number of staff at the warehouse.
“The main goal is to keep people safe,” Feshchenko emphasized.
He acknowledged the possibility of local shortages of certain items, since, unfortunately, the warehouses of some manufacturers and distributors have already been damaged or destroyed.
“It’s unlikely we’ll find quick solutions here. At the same time, we’re trying to explore other options to maintain the necessary product range,” he said.

According to him, the company incurs “significant” costs for logistics and infrastructure insurance.
“We have over a hundred storage facilities, and increasing inventory at these locations leads to a certain decline in inventory turnover. But we consider these investments entirely justified, given the level of risk involved in storing goods at a single large distribution center,” he said.
At the same time, the company is doing everything possible to ensure that this entire set of costs does not affect the final price for the customer.
“Customers shouldn’t have to pay for war-related risks. That’s why we’re optimizing logistics, monitoring operational efficiency, and maintaining our product range. The retail sector has learned to live and operate under these new realities, and so has Comfy,” he says.
The Comfy chain has 115 stores in 56 cities across Ukraine. Two more store openings are planned by the end of the year. According to the company, revenue for 2025 totaled 55.8 billion UAH, which is 17% more than in 2024. Over the course of the year, the company paid 2.3 billion UAH in taxes and fees to the state budget.
According to YouControl, Comfy Holdings Limited (100%, Cyprus) is the owner of Comfy Trade LLC, and the ultimate beneficiaries are Stanislav Ronis and Svitlana Hutsul.
