The dollar and the euro have risen in value again: The NBU has set the exchange rates for June 26

The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official exchange rates for Friday, June 26, 2026. The hryvnia weakened against the dollar, the euro, and the Polish zloty. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing the NBU’s website.
The official exchange rate for the dollar rose by more than 5 kopecks and approached the 45 hryvnia mark. The euro also continued to appreciate, exceeding 50.92 hryvnia.
Official Exchange Rates as of June 26
The National Bank set the following exchange rates:
- U.S. dollar — 44.9229 UAH;
- euro — 50.9201 UAH;
- Polish zloty — 11.8753 UAH.
These rates are used for accounting purposes, calculating certain payments, and other transactions required by law.

How the Dollar Exchange Rate Has Changed
As of June 25, the official dollar exchange rate was 44.8685 UAH.
On June 26, the regulator raised it to 44.9229 UAH.
Thus, the U.S. dollar appreciated by:
44.9229 – 44.8685 = 0.0544 UAH, or approximately 5.44 kopecks.
The official exchange rate is about 8 kopecks short of the psychological threshold of 45 UAH per dollar.

How the euro exchange rate has changed
The official euro exchange rate as of June 25 was 50.8809 UAH.
On Friday, June 26, it was set at 50.9201 UAH.
The euro rose by:
50.9201 – 50.8809 = 0.0392 UAH, or approximately 3.92 kopecks.
Thus, the European currency continues to hold above the 50 hryvnia mark.
What happened to the Polish zloty
The Polish zloty also rose slightly in value.
Its official exchange rate as of June 26 is 11.8753 UAH per zloty.
The day before, the Polish currency was worth about 11.8687 UAH. The increase amounted to approximately 0.66 kopecks.
The zloty exchange rate is important for Ukrainians who work in Poland, travel to that country, or receive remittances in Polish currency.
