Russia attacked five regions: the energy sector and industry were targeted

On the night of June 26 and over the past 24 hours, Russian troops launched attacks on five regions of Ukraine. Attacks were recorded in the Poltava, Odesa, Sumy, and Zaporizhzhia regions, as well as in Kyiv. This was reported by the State Emergency Service and local administrations, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

The enemy used ballistic missiles, attack drones, aerial bombs, artillery, and multiple-launch rocket systems.

Industrial and energy facilities, warehouses, a transport depot, residential buildings, and other civilian infrastructure were hit.

The Russian attacks have resulted in one fatality and several injuries. Fires broke out in a number of settlements, and power outages occurred temporarily.

Poltava Region: Rockets and Drones Struck Industrial Facilities

Overnight, the Russian army carried out a combined attack on Kremenchuk.

The enemy simultaneously deployed strike drones and ballistic missiles.

Vitaliy Dyakivnych, head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, reported that industrial facilities were hit.

The attack caused a partial power outage in Kremenchuk and parts of the region.

Utility workers promptly began restoration efforts. As of this morning, power had been fully restored.

No reports of casualties or injuries have been received from the Poltava region.

Odesa Region: Vilkove and part of the community were left without power

Russian drones attacked energy and civilian infrastructure in the Vilkove community of the Izmail district.

The strikes caused a fire, which State Emergency Service units quickly extinguished.

Due to damage to the power infrastructure, the following areas were left without electricity:

  • the town of Vilkove;
  • parts of the settlements in the Vilkove community.

One person was injured in the attack. They received the necessary medical care.

Utility workers and emergency services are working to restore the damaged power lines.

Sumy: A drone struck a parking lot

In Sumy, a Russian drone struck a vehicle parking lot.

As a result of the explosion and fire, one passenger car was completely destroyed.

About ten other vehicles were damaged by debris and the blast wave.

Rescue workers quickly extinguished the fire and prevented it from spreading to other vehicles.

According to preliminary reports, no one was injured as a result of the strike.

Kyiv: Over 100 rescue workers extinguished a fire at a warehouse

In Kyiv, authorities were dealing with the aftermath of a Russian attack that began on the evening of June 25.

In the Darnytskyi district of the capital, the shelling triggered a large-scale fire in warehouse facilities.

The following were deployed to extinguish the fire:

  • more than 100 rescue workers;
  • 23 fire and rescue vehicles and specialized equipment.

The fire was completely extinguished.

At another location in the Darnytskyi district, debris fell onto an open area. There were no fires, damage, or injuries reported there.

Zaporizhzhia: One person killed, ten injured

On June 25, the Russian army carried out 887 strikes on 44 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region.

These attacks took place throughout the entire day, not just during the nighttime airstrike.

The enemy used:

  • attack drones;
  • aircraft bombs;
  • multiple launch rocket systems;
  • artillery.

As a result of the shelling, one person was killed and ten others were wounded.

Authorities and law enforcement agencies received over a hundred reports of damage to residential buildings, vehicles, and infrastructure.

Russia has once again attacked energy infrastructure

Ukrainian energy facilities were once again among the main targets of Russian strikes.

In the Odesa region, the damage led to power outages in Vylkove and surrounding communities.

In the Poltava region, strikes on industrial facilities also caused temporary power outages.

In Kremenchuk, power was restored by morning. In the Odesa region, emergency crews continued working to address the damage.

Strikes on energy facilities place an additional strain on the grid and may lead to localized emergency power outages.
