A Ukrainian Armed Forces veteran has been appointed CEO of NovaPay: what is known about the new leader

Igor Prykhodko has been appointed CEO of NovaPay, a financial company that is part of the NOVA Group (“Nova Poshta”). He assumed his duties on August 11, 2026. This was announced by the company’s press service, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
As noted by the company, Igor Prykhodko has worked in the banking sector and non-bank financial institutions for over 23 years and joined the NovaPay team back in 2016 as Chief Financial Officer.
“Over the course of ten years with the company, Igor has become one of the key architects of its development and has contributed to the creation and launch of a number of financial products and services,” the statement reads.
According to the company, in 2022, Prykhodko voluntarily enlisted in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and participated in combat operations. After completing his military service, he returned to NovaPay and continued to develop the company.
“My goal is to maintain this momentum and ensure that the company’s strategy doesn’t remain on paper but is embodied in the team’s daily decisions. We will continue to develop digital products, scale our payment infrastructure both in Ukraine and abroad, and implement new financial solutions,” said NovaPay CEO Ihor Prykhodko.
According to the announcement, Vyacheslav Klimov, co-founder of the NOVA Group of Companies, emphasized that Igor’s ten years of experience at NovaPay and his deep understanding of the business will help the company move into a new phase of development.
NovaPay is an international financial service provided by the NOVA Group (“Nova Poshta”), which has been offering financial services both online and offline at over 3,600 “Nova Poshta” branches for nearly 13 years.

Management Changes at “Nova Poshta”
Since last spring, the company has been undergoing a wave of personnel changes. In late May 2025, company co-owner Volodymyr Poperechnyuk announced his intention to reduce bureaucracy and deregulate, as well as to “reduce the number of unnecessary processes that do not benefit customers.”
In June of last year, it was reported that Reputation Management Director Olena Plakhova, who had been with the company since 2020, had been dismissed. Later, in July, Nova Poshta announced the resignation of CEO Oleksandr Bulba.
In August, NovaPay CEO Andriy Kryvoshapko also left the company. Later, in March of this year, NovaPay CEO Ihor Syrovatko also stepped down. Igor Prykhodko, who had previously served as NovaPay’s CFO (Chief Financial Officer), was then appointed acting CEO of NovaPay.
