Ukrzaliznytsia is launching a daily high-speed “Intercity” train between Dnipro and Odesa—the first of its kind on this route. Tickets are now on sale. This was announced by Ukrzaliznytsia, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
“Starting June 28, we are launching a new daily high-speed Intercity train No. 753/754 between Dnipro and Odesa. This is the first regular Intercity high-speed train in the history of independent Ukraine to connect Dnipro and Odesa,” the statement reads.
Also, starting June 27, a new daily high-speed Intercity train No. 765/766 Kyiv–Odesa will begin service.
“In addition, we are increasing the frequency of high-speed trains No. 763/764 Kyiv–Odesa and No. 748/747 Kyiv–Ternopil to six times a week instead of three,” UZ reported.
The company noted that it was able to introduce new routes and increase the frequency of existing ones by optimizing the rotation of high-speed rolling stock.

A new schedule for high-speed electric trains on the Kyiv–Odesa–Dnipro triangle has been established for the summer period.
“This schedule allows the same rolling stock to sequentially serve several high-demand routes at once and make more efficient use of the existing fleet,” the statement said.
Ukrzaliznytsia emphasizes that passengers will have more trains and more seats on the most popular routes during the summer season.
As a reminder: earlier, Ukrzaliznytsia reported that it had added 12 new trips for the summer period, significantly accelerated train speeds, extended four routes to the mountains, and made eight trains that previously ran every other day run daily.
In addition, ahead of the summer season, Ukrzaliznytsia fully prepared 933 sleeper cars and 100 high-speed train cars, with 71% of the cars currently in service being air-conditioned.
