The Lviv Croissants chain is opening its first location in California, which will be its fourth in the U.S., the company’s press office told Forbes Ukraine, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

The new location in Fair Oaks is scheduled to open in August 2026.

The restaurant will cover an area of over 206 square meters and seat 54 guests. It will be decorated according to the chain’s new design concept, and its operational processes will run on the same technological platform that the company uses in its other U.S. locations.

Investment in the opening of the restaurant totaled approximately $450,000.

The core menu remains the same across all of the chain’s locations in the U.S., though the company adapts certain items to local demand.

The franchisee of the new restaurant is Ukrainian entrepreneur Oksana Melnychuk, who lives in the U.S.

More than 30 trainees are undergoing training at the location in Fair Oaks due to the expected high volume of business.

“California is the logical next step in Lviv Croissants’ expansion in the U.S. We’re already seeing strong interest in the franchise from entrepreneurs in various states, so we plan to continue expanding the network steadily,” says Andriy Halytskyi, co-founder and CEO of Lviv Croissants.

The company is already searching for a second location in the Sacramento area.
