Meest Post is raising its delivery rates: how much will you have to pay now?
20 April 13:40
Starting April 20, the postal operator Meest Poshta is changing its delivery rates within Ukraine. This was announced by the company’s press service, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
The company explained that the decision is due to rising costs for key logistics components, primarily fuel, as well as infrastructure maintenance, technical support, and partner services.
“Adjusting rates is a necessary step to ensure the stable operation of the service under new economic conditions. We are forced to adapt to changes in the cost of resources that enable delivery. Our priority is to maintain the reliability of the service and predictability for customers,” Meest Post stated.
The rate update applies to the main delivery rate grid for Ukraine and involves a moderate adjustment of costs depending on the weight and format of the shipment.
At the same time, Meest Post is maintaining the key terms of the service, including weight ranges and the basic pricing logic. Additional benefits also remain unchanged: free return of shipments up to 30 kg in case of refusal by the recipient and free packaging materials in specified formats.
“The key shipment categories for customers—packages up to 2 kg and up to 5 kg—remain in a competitive price range. It is these weight segments that account for the bulk of shipments for both private customers and small businesses,” the company stated.
The updated rates for the most popular shipment categories will be:
Documents: 60 UAH within the city and 65–70 UAH between cities.
Packages up to 2 kg: 60 UAH within the city and 75–80 UAH between cities.
Packages up to 5 kg: 95 UAH within the city and 100–110 UAH between cities, depending on the selected delivery method (post office or parcel locker).
The updated rates also take into account the specifics of certain shipment categories. A separate rate has been introduced for pallets within the regional center, which has made it possible to reduce the cost of local delivery in this segment, Meest noted.
When placing orders via the Meest Post mobile app, customers receive an automatic 10% discount on delivery.
