The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has granted permission to Galnaftogaz, which owns the OKKO filling station chain, to acquire a majority stake in the First National Network of Electric Charging Complexes TOKA. The deal is to buy 50% of TOKA, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

“This is not a sale, but an investment. Which is backed by a stake in the business,”

says Stefan Blagovisny, co-owner of the TOKA network.

TOKA is one of the leading operators of electric vehicle charging stations in Ukraine and cooperates with large gas station chains. OKKO has been cooperating with this company since 2019.

At the beginning of 2025, TOKA signed a strategic agreement with the WOG chain. Earlier, the company also announced the expansion of its network of charging stations at BRSM-Nafta gas stations.

So, by purchasing TOKA, OKKO is actually entering the filling stations of its competitors.

TOKA is the first network of charging stations for electric vehicles

TOKA is a Ukrainian company that has created the first national network of publicly accessible charging stations for electric vehicles. The company not only develops the infrastructure of electric charging stations, but also produces charging equipment for both public and private use. In addition, TOKA acts as a network operator, ensuring the convenience and accessibility of charging stations for all owners of electric vehicles.

One of the company’s key achievements is the development of a cloud-based platform for managing the charging station network, as well as the creation of mobile applications for iOS and Android that simplify the charging process. As of today, TOKA has installed more than 200 public electric charging stations capable of simultaneously servicing up to 340 electric vehicles. The stations are located in major cities of Ukraine, including Kyiv and Odesa, as well as at commercial and social infrastructure facilities: shopping centers, office buildings, parking lots, and gas stations.

TOKA is actively expanding its network of high-speed charging stations, which allow for a full charge of an electric vehicle in just 30 minutes, which contributes to the development of long-distance travel by electric vehicles. The company also plans to involve customers in the selection of new locations for the installation of stations through online voting.
