On the night of May 14, Russian troops launched a combined attack on Ukrainian territory, resulting in the destruction of the Kyiv office of the defense company Skyeton, which specializes in the production of unmanned aerial systems supplied to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The company reported this on social media, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

Skyeton had already anticipated the possibility of an attack and took security measures in advance, relocating its production facilities both within Ukraine and abroad.

In its statement on social media, the company confirmed its readiness to continue operations and supply unmanned technologies to the Ukrainian military.

“The company will continue its work and supply of unmanned technologies to the Ukrainian Armed Forces to bring closer the day when we and our loved ones will finally be safe and under a peaceful sky on our own land,” the company’s statement reads.

What is known about the Russian attack on May 14

On the night of May 14, 2026, Russia launched another nighttime attack on Ukraine, resulting in significant casualties and destruction. As of now, five people are reported dead in Kyiv, about 40 people were injured in the capital, and seven more were injured in the Kyiv region.

In Kharkiv, there are 28 casualties, and in the Odesa region, two people were injured.

Across the country, 180 structures have been damaged, more than 50 of which are residential buildings.

A search-and-rescue operation is underway in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv , where rescuers are searching for people under the rubble of a building. More than 10 people are considered missing. All necessary services are also operating in the Obolon district. Recovery efforts are also underway in the Poltava region. More than 750 employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and nearly 750 police officers have been deployed to address the aftermath of the shelling across the country.

During a humanitarian mission in Kherson, Russian troops twice attacked a vehicle belonging to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs with FPV drones. Fortunately, no one was injured, and mission personnel were evacuated.

Ukrainian forces successfully shot down a significant number of missiles and drones during the attacks, with an overall interception rate of over 93%.

What is known about Skyeton

Skyeton is a Ukrainian company founded in 2006 that specializes in reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The company not only supplies drones to the Ukrainian defense forces but also manufactures NATO-certified products abroad and develops solutions resistant to electronic warfare.

In July 2025, Skyeton partnered with the British defense company Prevail Partners to establish a joint venture in the United Kingdom. In addition, Skyeton began manufacturing Raybird drones in Slovakia through its subsidiary Tropozond s.r.o. An agreement was also signed with the Danish company Quadsat regarding the development of electromagnetic surveillance systems.
