Alla Basalaeva: The audit of Energoatom has been completed, and all materials have been handed over to NABU

The State Audit Service has completed a state financial audit and an examination of specific aspects of the financial and operational activities of JSC “National Nuclear Energy Generating Company “Energoatom.” This was reported by Alla Basalayeva, head of the State Audit Service of Ukraine, in an interview with the online publication “OBOZ.UA, ” according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
According to Alla Basalayeva, “the audit report and inspection report have been attached to the materials of the criminal proceedings” being conducted by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine. In accordance with Article 222 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, information regarding the pre-trial investigation is not subject to disclosure. Therefore, as the head of the State Audit Service noted, details of the state financial control measures are not being commented on at this time.
At the same time, Alla Basalayeva added that the audit of the energy sector is ongoing. Specifically, the audit of PJSC “Centrenergo” will conclude in June, followed by the Ukrainian Gas Transmission System Operator and “Ukrgazvydobuvannya.”
As a reminder, the audit of NAEK “Energoatom” was initiated by Order No. 1223-r of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated November 13, 2025. The audit covered the activities of the management apparatus of the power-generating company and its 10 branches, including three nuclear power plants.
