Political analyst Magda: assumptions about possible Kremlin dirt on Trump do not change the main thing – his plan for Ukraine ignores reality

In an interview for the YouTube channel "Komersant Ukrainian", political scientist and director of the Institute of World Policy Yevhen Magda commented on the widespread speculation on social media about the Kremlin’s possible dirt on Donald Trump, in particular, that Russia may have materials “tougher than the Epstein files” and that this allegedly affects US policy toward Ukraine.

Magda noted that given Trump’s tumultuous past, his business crisis, ties to the world of show business, and political activities, compromising information could theoretically exist. However, the political scientist emphasized: Trump is already in his second presidential term and will not seek a third, so fears of possible pressure do not seem to be decisive.

“What are the fears here? The Democrats are at the end of their rope. What should he focus on? The fact that Elon Musk will create the party of America and lead it to the midterms?” Magda said.

According to him, the current political situation in the United States is paradoxical: Trump’s rating is falling, but it is not flowing to competitors, rather it is resulting in mass protests, where millions of people came out and said they did not need a king.

Instead, Trump himself responds to the criticism with artificial intelligence videos that, according to Magda, throw mud at the protesters.

The political scientist emphasized that all these factors do not change the main point: the discussion around Trump’s plan for Ukraine should not be based on rumors of dirt, but on its content, which, according to the expert, does not take into account Ukrainian interests and actually ignores the consequences of Russian aggression.
