Polish retailer Pepco is entering the Ukrainian market: the chain has officially confirmed the launch

Polish retailer Pepco has officially announced its entry into the Ukrainian market. The company plans to launch pilot stores in select regions of the country. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing a statement from the Pepco Group.

The Polish chain Pepco, which specializes in selling affordable clothing and home goods, has officially announced the launch of its operations in Ukraine.

Pepco Group CEO Stefan Borchert announced the launch during a presentation of the company’s financial results.

According to him, the retailer is launching a pilot format in several regions of Ukraine. The company considers the Ukrainian market promising for the brand’s further development.

“We are also launching a carefully planned pilot project in select regions of Ukraine, in a market where Pepco already has high brand recognition and which represents a potentially significant new growth opportunity for the group in the long term,” he noted.

However, Pepco has not yet disclosed specific cities, opening dates, or the number of stores.

What is known about Pepco

Pepco is a Polish chain of clothing and home goods stores headquartered in Poznań, founded in 1999. The company has over 4,000 stores in 18 countries, is part of the Pepco Group, and serves over 41 million customers monthly. The brand remains the group’s key asset, accounting for 93% of its revenue and 92% of its retail space.

According to the Pepco Group’s preliminary financial results for the 2025 fiscal year, the company’s revenue grew by 8.7% to €4.523 billion, EBITDA by 10.3% to €865 million, and net profit by 19.7% to €219 million.

At the same time, free cash flow reached €334 million, allowing the group to increase its dividend payout by 55% to €0.096 per share and to continue its share buyback program.
