In the early 2000s, his popularity peaked: his album “Natalia Street” brought him the first Golden Disc in the history of independent Ukraine. In total, he received three such awards.
His songs – “Yavorina,” “Dream,” “Natalie,” “My Friends,” and “Altar” – have become classics of Ukrainian pop. Giga worked as a composer, arranger and producer, founded the GIGARecords studio and collaborated with young performers.

The artist was married twice. His second wife, bandura player Halyna, is the director of his studio. Both of his children – daughter Kvitoslava and son Stepan – continue their musical career, often touring with their father.
