Warning for drivers: starting March 13, there may be hours-long queues at Shehynyi

The Shehyni checkpoint on the border with Poland will temporarily operate in a slow mode in the cargo direction due to reconstruction. This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

Changes in the operation of the checkpoint will be in effect from March 13 to May 10.

“Important information for travelers through the Shehyni checkpoint. From March 13 to May 10, 2025, due to the reconstruction of the checkpoint, cargo clearance will be carried out in a slow mode,” the agency’s telegram channel says.

Earlier it was reported that traffic delays are expected in both directions at the Ustyluh-Zosyn checkpoint, as the repair of the bridge over the Western Bug River on the Polish side will begin on February 19.
