A Ukrainian brand has made the American dream come true: Bob Snail is now available in 1,100 Walmart stores

Bob Snail, a Ukrainian manufacturer of natural fruit snacks, is officially launching its products at Walmart stores in the United States. The brand’s products will be available at approximately 1,100 locations of the largest American retail chain, as well as online. Pavlo Miroshnychenko, sales director of Bob Snail’s U.S. branch, announced this on social media, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"

According to him, the launch at Walmart was the result of three years of work by the team, which began with a chance meeting at an industry trade show.

Bob Snail will be available in 1,100 Walmart stores

Sales of Bob Snail products in Walmart stores across the U.S. will begin with three family-size packs of fruit snacks.

The lineup includes:

  • Bob Snail Fruit Rolls Strawberry & Mango — a pack of 24 fruit rolls in strawberry and mango flavors;
  • Bob Snail Fruit Rolls Raspberry & Blueberry — a pack of 24 rolls in raspberry and blueberry flavors;
  • Bob Snail Fruit Snacks Bites Variety Pack — a pack of 10 individual packages of fruit bites in raspberry and mango flavors.

At Walmart stores, products from this Ukrainian brand can be found in the breakfast and fruit snack aisles. Shoppers will also be able to order the products online.

The journey to Walmart took three years

According to Pavlo Miroshnychenko, three years ago, being in Walmart was just a dream and a long-term goal for the Bob Snail team.

To prepare the brand for its debut in one of the world’s largest retail chains, the team had to go through a lengthy process. It included thousands of emails, negotiations, presentations for the retailer, product and packaging updates, certification, and logistics coordination.

The team also worked on meeting U.S. market requirements, organizing shipments, and preparing products for mass retail.

Bob Snail described the launch at Walmart not simply as an entry into a new retail chain, but as a significant milestone in the global development of the Ukrainian brand.

What Bob Snail Snacks Are Known For

Bob Snail specializes in producing fruit rolls, strips, candies, and other snacks made from fruits and berries.

The company notes that its products are made from real fruits and berries with no added sugar. The snacks also contain no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives.

The brand positions its products as a natural alternative to traditional sweets for children and adults.

The entry into Walmart gives Bob Snail the opportunity to significantly expand its presence in the U.S. market and introduce Ukrainian products to a new audience.

The company employs over 700 people

The Bob Snail team consists of over 700 employees from Ukraine and other countries.

Pavlo Miroshnychenko emphasized that the launch at Walmart was the result of a collaborative effort by the company’s production, logistics, finance, marketing, and other departments.

He also extended special thanks to the brand’s U.S. team, the company’s founders Yevhen Shugaev and Mykhailo Siverchuk, as well as the partners who helped prepare for the launch over the past three years.

A representative from Bob Snail also noted the support of the Walmart team, particularly the specialists who oversaw the process of preparing the products for store shelves.

Entering the U.S. Market During the War

The launch at Walmart is particularly important for the company, given that a significant portion of its team and production capacity is based in Ukraine.

Despite the full-scale war, Ukrainian businesses continue to expand exports, adapt their products to the requirements of foreign markets, and negotiate with major international retailers.

The appearance of Bob Snail in over a thousand U.S. stores demonstrates that Ukrainian manufacturers can compete in one of the world’s largest consumer markets.

At the same time, the partnership with Walmart could open up new opportunities for the brand to further scale its operations in North America.

The launch at Walmart is one of the brand’s largest retail launches in the U.S. From now on, American consumers will be able to buy Ukrainian fruit snacks not only online but also in brick-and-mortar stores.

According to data from YouControl, the ultimate beneficial owners of Eco-Snack LLC, via the Cypriot company WHS World Healthy Snack Limited, are Mykhailo Siverchuk and Yevhen Shugaev, each holding a 37.19% stake on an equal basis.

Earlier this year, it was reported that the HCGF IV fund, managed by Horizon Capital, had acquired a stake in the company, though the investor’s share was not disclosed.

According to YouControl, Eco-Snack’s revenue for 2025 increased by 22.3% compared to 2024—to 1 billion 813.1 million UAH, while net profit fell by 37.2% to 148.9 million UAH.

The brand’s products are available in 26 countries worldwide. Bob Snail has subsidiaries in Poland, Canada, the U.S., and the U.K.
