14 May 19:34

On May 14, a Russian nighttime attack on Kyiv damaged the logistics center of one of Ukraine’s largest publishing houses, “Ranok.” The publisher specializes in children’s and educational literature.

This was reported by Ranok’s CEO Viktor Kruglov, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

The strike damaged an electrical substation at one of the logistics centers in Kyiv and destroyed the diesel generators. None of the employees were injured.

According to Kruglov, “Ranok” has already taken steps to minimize the impact on customers by redirecting urgent orders to a backup warehouse. The publishing house plans to resume operations of its online bookstore on Friday, May 16.

The warehouse of the publishing house “Shche Odnu Storinku,” which belongs to the “Ranok” corporation, was also damaged.

Due to damage to the Kyiv warehouse, where the online store is based, order shipments will be delayed. However, none of the employees or books were harmed, and the warehouse continues to operate on a generator.
