Russia struck a gas station in Kharkiv twice: a fire broke out, and one person was injured

On the evening of July 8, Russian occupation forces attacked Kharkiv with strike drones. A gas station was hit. After the first strike, the occupiers launched a second strike on the same target. This was reported by Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"

A drone struck a gas station in the Shevchenkivskyi district

According to Igor Terekhov, an enemy drone struck a gas station in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv.

A fire broke out at the gas station following the strike. Rescue workers, medical personnel, and other emergency services quickly arrived at the scene.

At around 9:50 p.m., Russian troops attacked the same gas station again.

The Kharkiv Regional Military Administration confirmed that two strikes by attack drones on the facility were recorded.

It was this second strike that significantly complicated the work of emergency services, which were already dealing with the aftermath of the first attack.

According to preliminary information, one person sustained a shrapnel wound as a result of the shelling.

The victim received the necessary medical care. Information regarding possible other casualties is being verified.

Kharkiv remains under massive attack

In recent days, Kharkiv has been regularly hit by Russian missiles and drones.

On the night of July 8, the Russian army attacked the city with ballistic missiles. Afterward, the occupiers struck residential neighborhoods and civilian infrastructure.

In particular, 42 people were injured as a result of an attack on an apartment building in the Nemyshlyanskyi district.

Russia is increasingly targeting fuel infrastructure

Recently, Russian troops have been systematically striking gas stations in various regions of Ukraine.

Previously, gas stations in the Sumy, Poltava, Kyiv, and other regions were targeted.

The government has already stated that it is working on additional security measures for fuel infrastructure, and market operators assure that there is currently no fuel shortage in the country.
