Russia attacked two gas stations: one person was killed and nine were injured

On the morning of July 3, Russian occupation forces attacked gas stations in two regions of Ukraine simultaneously. In Sumy, the attack targeted a gas station in the Zarichny district of the city, where four employees sustained serious injuries. In the Sofiivska community of the Kryvyi Rih district in Dnipropetrovsk region, one person was killed and five others were injured as a result of an attack on a gas station, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
Rescue workers, medical personnel, police, and other emergency services were on the scene at both locations. A fire broke out after the attack on the gas station in the Kryvyi Rih area.
Russia attacked a gas station in Sumy
At approximately 8:35 a .m. on July 3, Russian troops struck one of the gas stations in the Zarichny district of Sumy, according to a Telegram post by Artem Kobzar , acting mayor of Sumy.
“Today at approximately 8:35 a.m., a strike was recorded at one of the gas stations in the Zarichne district of Sumy,” his message reads.
As of now, seven people are known to have been injured as a result of the enemy strike .
Two people will receive outpatient treatment after receiving medical care; three have been hospitalized; and two more are undergoing medical examinations.
All relevant emergency services are on the scene.
The Sumy City Military Administration reported that four gas station employees were injured in the attack. All were hospitalized, and their condition was assessed as serious.
One person died in the Kryvyi Rih region following a strike on a gas station
Another Russian attack took place on the morning of July 3 in the Sofiivska territorial community of the Kryvyi Rih district, according to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service.
The strike hit a gas station. A fire broke out on the premises.
The State Emergency Service initially reported one fatality and three injured. Later, Dnipropetrovsk Regional Governor Oleksandr Hanzha clarified that the number of casualties had risen to five.
Among the five victims in the Sofiivka community, three were in critical condition:
- a 59-year-old man;
- a 38-year-old man;
- a 50-year-old woman.
Another 63-year-old man was hospitalized in moderate condition. A 36-year-old woman was treated on an outpatient basis.
One person died as a result of the attack. No official information about the victim’s identity has been released.
A fire broke out after a Russian strike on a gas station in the Kryvyi Rih district.
Rescue workers extinguished the fire and inspected the damaged facility. Gas stations are classified as high-risk facilities due to the presence of fuel, so the top priority was to prevent the fire from spreading further.

Russia also attacked other districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region
On the night of and morning of July 3, Russian troops attacked four districts in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
In Kryvyi Rih, seven people were injured as a result of a nighttime missile strike. A business, educational institutions, a store, residential buildings, and vehicles were damaged.
In the Synelnykivskyi District, three people were injured as a result of shelling of the Shakhtarska community. A vehicle was also damaged.
Another gas station and several vehicles were damaged in the Kamyanske District. In the Nikopol District, a residential building and outbuildings sustained damage.
According to preliminary reports from rescue workers, at least 13 people were injured and one person was killed as a result of nighttime and morning attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Russian strikes on gas stations are occurring in various regions
The attacks in Sumy and the Kryvyi Rih district were not the only instances of damage to gas stations in recent days.
In Kharkiv, a Russian drone struck a fuel dispenser at a gas station. Three people were injured, including a seven-year-old child.
In the Chernihiv region, Russian drones also damaged gas stations. Specifically, there were reports of a strike on a gas station in Ripky and an employee being wounded during another attack.
