On the night of June 1, Russian forces attacked Odesa with drones. The strike damaged a residential high-rise, private homes, and a non-residential building in the city. Fires also broke out, which were quickly extinguished by emergency responders.

Serhiy Lysak, head of the Odesa City Military Administration, reported on the consequences of the attack, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"

According to preliminary information, four people were injured as a result of the nighttime strike. All the injured received the necessary medical care.

Russian UAV hits high-rise

During the nighttime attack, one of the enemy drones struck a residential high-rise building in Odesa.

The strike partially destroyed the first and second floors of the building. The balconies and facade of the building also sustained significant damage.

A fire broke out at the site of the strike. Rescue workers managed to quickly contain it.

Buildings and private homes were on fire in the city

In addition to the high-rise, a non-residential two-story building caught fire as a result of the Russian attack.

Later, two more fires were reported in private single-story homes. Emergency services were on the scene, working to address the aftermath of the enemy strike.

The damage to residential buildings once again demonstrates that Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities pose a direct threat to the civilian population.
