On February 11, the invaders attacked Ukraine’s energy system, including the gas infrastructure. Power engineers are introducing emergency electricity restrictions. This was announced by the Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Galushchenko, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

“There is another attack on the Ukrainian energy system. At night, the enemy attacked the gas infrastructure. As of this morning, the energy sector is still under attack,” he wrote.

To minimize the possible consequences for the power system, the transmission system operator is urgently applying emergency electricity restrictions.

“As soon as the security situation allows, the consequences will be clarified. Follow the official announcements. Stay in shelters while the danger lasts,” the minister added.

Ukrenergo also reported that due to the massive ballistic attack, emergency power outages are being introduced in Ukraine.

The restrictions will be lifted after the situation in the power system stabilizes.

The Poltava Regional State Administration reported that the enemy had once again launched a missile attack on Poltava region, leaving part of Myrhorod district without gas supply.

“As a result of the missile strike, 9 settlements in Myrhorod district were left without gas supply,” the Poltava Regional Military Administration said.

No hits to civilian infrastructure were reported.
