Ukrainian social media reacted instantly to the story of the bride-to-be. Under her post, women from all over Ukraine began offering their own wedding dresses en masse and completely free of charge to save the celebration.

“Consider this a ransom for a long and happy life,” wrote one of the flash mob participants.

The number of offers and words of support turned out to be so great that commenters began joking: with so many dresses, Dasha could now open her own bridal salon.

The story also caught the attention of Ukrainian businesses. The well-known domestic wedding fashion brand VLADIYAN promptly reached out to the bride in distress. Company representatives offered Dasha the chance to choose absolutely any dress from their catalog as a gift.
