The Russians destroyed a warehouse belonging to one of the largest auto parts distributors: this is the third such attack this year

As a result of a massive Russian attack, the FIM Service warehouse complex in the village of Chaika, Kyiv Oblast, sustained serious damage. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing the State Emergency Service.

Following the Russian strike, a large-scale fire broke out at the FIM Service warehouse. Due to the complexity of the blaze, rescue workers deployed specialized equipment, including firefighting robots and two rescue helicopters.

According to the State Emergency Service, the fire covered an area of 10,000 square meters. This is an exceptionally large-scale fire for a warehouse facility, where goods, packaging, pallets, equipment, and other materials that quickly spread fire could have been stored.

The FIM Service warehouse complex is located in the Kyiv region and is one of the largest logistics facilities. Its total area exceeds 27,000 square meters.

“Omega” confirmed damage to its Kyiv distribution center

Omega, one of the largest distributors of auto parts in Ukraine, has confirmed damage to its Kyiv distribution center.

The company reported that shipments from the Kyiv distribution center have been temporarily suspended due to the attack.

“In this regard, shipments from the Kyiv distribution center have been temporarily suspended. At the same time, shipments from regional warehouses, as well as tire shipments, are proceeding as usual,” the company noted.

Efforts to address the aftermath of the attack and assess the situation are currently underway.

The company continues to operate through regional warehouses, but the attack on the Kyiv distribution center has dealt another serious blow to its logistics.

This is the third blow to Omega’s logistics operations in a year

The attack on the warehouse in the Kyiv region marks the third blow to Omega’s logistics facilities in the past year.

The first major blow occurred a year ago—on the night of May 26. At that time, the company’s Kharkiv logistics center burned down as a result of an attack by Russian drones. According to reports, eight attack drones struck the facility. The attack completely destroyed the warehouse roof, and the fire destroyed all the products stored at the facility.

Due to the loss of infrastructure, the company was forced to reduce capacity and lay off part of the warehouse staff in Kharkiv.

The second strike occurred on November 19, 2025, when Russian troops attacked Omega’s distribution center in Lviv. The fire destroyed the goods and significantly damaged the premises.

“The fire destroyed the goods and significantly damaged the premises, presenting our team with yet another major challenge,” the company reported at the time.

Following the two previous attacks, Omega emphasized that it had not yet fully recovered from the destruction of the Kharkiv distribution center.

“We have not yet fully recovered from the destruction of the Kharkiv distribution center. Two blows this year—this is a test that is putting our resilience to the test,” the company noted.

Now, the Kyiv distribution center has been added to those in Kharkiv and Lviv.

Why the attack on the auto parts warehouse is significant for the market

Omega is one of the largest operators in Ukraine’s auto parts market. It offers a wide range of automotive products and maintains a substantial logistics infrastructure.

According to 2025 results, the company was ranked among the 200 largest companies in Ukraine by Forbes. Omega’s annual sales were estimated at approximately 8.2 billion UAH.

That is why attacks on its warehouses matter not only to the company itself. They can affect the supply of auto parts, the operations of auto repair shops, retailers, service companies, and customers who depend on a stable supply of parts.

Russia is targeting the business’s logistics infrastructure

The strike on the FIM Service warehouse complex was yet another example of how Russian attacks affect not only residential buildings or energy facilities, but also civilian business infrastructure.

Logistics warehouses are a vital part of the economy. Goods for stores, service providers, manufacturing facilities, and entrepreneurs pass through them. When such facilities are destroyed, businesses lose goods, premises, equipment, logistics chains, and time for recovery.

In the case of “Omega,” we are already talking about a systematic destruction of warehouse capacity in various regions of Ukraine—Kharkiv, Lviv, and the Kyiv region.

What is known about FIM Service

The complex was built by the FIM Group investment group. At the time of its opening, it was considered the largest professional facility of its kind in Ukraine.

The total area of the warehouse complex is 27,240 square meters. According to the State Emergency Service, following the attack and fire, approximately 10,000 square meters were engulfed in flames.
