On the night of Saturday, July 26, during a massive missile and drone attack, Russians destroyed the only Epicenter hypermarket in Kamianske.

This was reported on social media by the company’s press service representative Yulia Chudnovets, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

“Last night, Russian missiles destroyed another Epicenter shopping center in the city of Kamianske in the Dnipro region. The shopping center with an area of more than 11,000 square meters was completely destroyed. This is another terrible loss for our company and another blow to the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine,” she wrote.

According to Yulia Chudnovets, none of the employees were injured, but many people lost their jobs, and the city is an important center of trade and access to essential goods.

“For many of our customers, Epicenter is not just a store. It is a place where they bought basic necessities, arranged their lives and built their future. And today, another Ukrainian city is left without this opportunity.

We will definitely resume operations in Kamianske. But right now, we are with our employees, the town’s residents, and everyone who feels the loss as much as we do,” said the company spokeswoman.

As she emphasized, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, seven shopping centers in Mariupol, Chernihiv, Bucha, Nikopol, Kharkiv and two in Kherson with a total area of over 125,600 square meters have been completely destroyed. Two more shopping centers have ceased operations due to damage and proximity to the war zone, and a shopping center in Melitopol is under occupation.

“These are not just ruins of buildings – it is a ruined peace, a ruined peaceful life. But together with our big team, we will continue to develop and remain a symbol of the resilience of Ukrainians,” summarized Yulia Chudnovets.
