The Verkhovna Rada’s Temporary Investigative Commission, which is investigating corruption within law enforcement agencies, has been operating for nearly a year and is preparing to move on to analyzing the work of the NABU and the SAPO. The review could begin in the very near future. MP Maksym Buzhansky stated this in an interview with the YouTube channel "Komersant Ukrainian" .

“The commission has been working since June or July of last year. We have covered a vast range of issues, and criminal cases have already been opened regarding some of them,” he said.

According to the MP, the TSC has already identified problems, particularly in competitions for judicial bodies.

“We found that certain competitions were rigged,” Buzhansky noted.

Speaking about the investigation into the work of anti-corruption agencies, he emphasized that this is not about pressure, but about parliamentary oversight.

“We have no reason to attack them; we voted for them… And we deliberately postponed the issues regarding NABU and SAPO so that no one could say we jumped right on them,” the lawmaker explained.

He stressed that the commission will not interfere in specific criminal proceedings but will analyze systemic issues.

“We do not interfere in specific criminal cases… We need to figure out how each of these agencies operates,” he said.

Buzhansky also drew attention to high-profile cases where, in his opinion, there is an imbalance between publicity and results.

“There are cases where the media and political aspects dominate over the professional ones… We would like their activities to be exclusively anti-corruption,” the deputy added.

According to him, the review of the activities of NABU and SAPO may begin around May.
