Head of the regional department of the Ministry of Justice may have his luxury car confiscated

The State Bureau of Investigation, in cooperation with the NACP, has filed a lawsuit to declare unjustified and confiscate an elite car from the head of the Interregional Department for the Execution of Criminal Sentences of the Ministry of Justice.

This was reported by the State Bureau of Investigation, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

It was established that the car was purchased in 2023 by his daughter for UAH 3.29 million, which was later used by the official personally.

An analysis of his income and expenses and those of his family members showed that it was impossible to acquire this asset from legal sources.

In view of the findings, the prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office filed a lawsuit with the High Anti-Corruption Court to declare the asset unjustified and recover it as state revenue.
