Six Inditex brands opened simultaneously at the Gulliver shopping center: what we know
24 April 17:27
One of the largest shopping centers in downtown Kyiv is gradually resuming operations. Six stores belonging to the Spanish Inditex Group have reopened at Gulliver. These include Massimo Dutti, Stradivarius, Bershka, Pull&Bear, Oysho, and Zara Home.
This was reported by RAU, as relayed by "Komersant Ukrainian".
“The resumption of operations at Inditex stores in Gulliver is a clear indicator of confidence in the new landlord. Transparency of ownership and predictability of terms are key factors for global business. Today, we provide exactly these conditions, and it is paying off. We are pleased to see that world-class brands are betting on Gulliver and their Kyiv customers,” said Arsen Milyutin, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Oschadbank, responsible for NPL management.
The stores had been closed for nearly six months. The reason was not the economy or demand, but a corporate conflict surrounding the shopping center itself.
“The return of Inditex brands is a significant event for the Gulliver shopping and entertainment center and its visitors. After all, these are brands that traditionally form the center’s strong fashion offering. For many guests, this will mean the opportunity to visit their familiar and favorite stores in a well-known location in the very heart of the capital,” reads a statement from the Gulliver press service.

Why Gulliver closed
The Gulliver shopping and entertainment center ceased operations on October 30, 2025. The official reason cited at the time was a corporate conflict that effectively blocked the operations of one of the key commercial properties in central Kyiv—next to the Palace of Sports.
It was reported that the decision was made due to safety risks for visitors. The problem arose at the building management level—key engineering systems had not been transferred to the new manager.
A conflict erupted between the former owner of the complex, Tri O LLC, and the state-owned banks—Oschadbank and Ukreximbank. It was these banks that initiated foreclosure proceedings due to loan debts.
As a result, the shopping center effectively came under the control of the banks, which acquired stakes in the management consortium.
Gulliver fully reopened to visitors in early February, but tenants are gradually resuming operations.
