The Pentagon has launched the Ukraine Oversight website to provide Americans with more information on the control of weapons and equipment sent by the US to Ukraine. According to The Hill, this happened due to a delay in funding for Ukraine, Komersant ukrainskyi

The new Ukraine Oversight website provides information on the work of more than 20 US oversight agencies. Its main goal is to ensure transparency in the use of aid to Ukraine and prevent the misuse of taxpayer funds.
The website also contains information on how much US aid has been provided to Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia. In addition, there is contact information to report any allegations of fraud, waste or misuse of aid to Ukraine.
Acting State Department Inspector General Diane Shaw said that “oversight of Ukraine is the number one priority”, calling the website a new tool that “helps keep American taxpayers informed”.
Delay in funding assistance to Ukraine
It should be noted that the US Congress has been unable to approve new funding for Ukraine for several months now to continue supplying weapons and other supplies. This situation is due to a disagreement between Republicans and Democrats over border security, which was included in the package of aid to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan.
The Senate recently passed a separate bill with money for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan. To become law, the document still needs to be approved by the House of Representatives and signed by President Joe Biden.
At the end of January, Ukraine warned its partners that it was running out of shells and that Russia was outgunned and may have to allocate resources along the 1,500-kilometre frontline.
