Ukrainians have been informed whether there will be power outages on April 14
14 April 01:20
On Tuesday, April 14, no measures to restrict electricity consumption are planned in any region of Ukraine. Rolling blackouts will not be in effect during the day. This was reported by NPC “Ukrenergo,” according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
Thus, despite the cold weather, Ukrainians can count on a stable power supply without hourly schedules or other planned restrictions.
Will there be power outage schedules on April 14?
According to Ukrenergo, no power outage schedules are planned for Tuesday, April 14, in Ukraine. Electricity consumption restrictions will not be applied either to the general public or across the entire power grid.
This means that there should be no scheduled power outages during the day, and the situation in the power grid allows for operations without blackouts.
Why energy officials are still urging people to conserve
Despite the absence of power outage schedules, energy officials have asked consumers to use electricity sparingly during the evening hours.
Ukrainians are asked to pay the most attention to the time period from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. It is during this period that it is advisable not to place an excessive load on the power grid.
When is the best time to use energy-intensive appliances
Ukrenergo recommends shifting all energy-intensive activities to daytime hours—from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
This primarily refers to the use of household appliances that consume a lot of electricity, including:
- washing machines;
- water heaters;
- electric stoves;
- space heaters;
- dishwashers;
- other high-power appliances.
This approach helps reduce the load on the system during evening peak consumption.
Why it’s important to stay updated
Ukrainians have also been warned that the situation in the power grid may change. That is why consumers are advised to closely monitor announcements on the official websites of regional power companies.
In other words, the current forecast for April 14 is positive, but energy officials reserve the right to respond promptly to changes in the system’s operation.
What this means for Ukrainians
For most consumers, this means that on Tuesday, they can plan their day without having to worry about power outage schedules. At the same time, Ukrainians are still expected to use electricity responsibly, especially in the evening hours.
This approach helps maintain the stability of the power grid even when blackouts are not in effect.
