The government has approved changes to the procedure for coordinating international military aid, which will allow Ukraine to formulate and submit to donors proposals—agreed upon by Ukraine—regarding the use of such funding. This was reported by Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

“We are continuing to deregulate and adapt procedures to wartime requirements in key areas,” she wrote on Telegram.

This involves simplifying procurement using funds from international partners, the head of government clarified.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved changes to the procedure for coordinating international military aid during martial law.

According to Svyrydenko, the Ministry of Defense is becoming a “single point of contact” for all components of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

It will consolidate the needs of the security and defense sector, including the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service, the Security Service of Ukraine, and other units.

“The updated mechanism will allow us to formulate and present to donors proposals agreed upon by Ukraine regarding the use of international funding to increase the effectiveness of its mobilization,” Svyrydenko explained.

The Defense Procurement Agency (DPA) will be able to make purchases using funds from foreign donors in the interests of all components of the security and defense sector.
