A Ukrainian restaurant called Mur Mur was set on fire in Poland: what we know

16 June 11:17

On the night of June 15, unknown individuals set fire to the Ukrainian restaurant Mur Mur in Warsaw, co-founded by blogger and businessman Oleksandr Slobozhenko, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

Co-owner Oleksiy Kostylev recounted in his Instagram Stories that around 4 a.m., two men wearing hoods and masks approached the restaurant. One of them first surveyed the area, walking around with a phone to his ear. After making sure no one was nearby, the perpetrators broke down the door, poured what was likely gasoline in the dining area, and set the premises on fire.

The other co-founder, Dmitry Rozlyakov, noted that the attackers did not attempt to rob the premises but had specifically planned to burn it down.

After setting the fire, the men tried to flee, but the footage shows that a few seconds later, one of them returned to document the outcome of the “operation.”
