Starting July 1, Ukrposhta is eliminating the 45 UAH surcharge for delivering mail to villages via mobile branches. From now on, the delivery rate to settlements where the company has a presence will be the same as for cities. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing Ukrposhta CEO Ihor Smiliansky.

“Ukrposhta is eliminating the 45 hryvnia surcharge for deliveries to villages via our mobile branches. Starting July 1, delivery to villages where Ukrposhta has a presence (a branch or an office in the village council) will be free of surcharges. In other words, the rate will be the same as for city delivery,” the post states.

At the same time, according to Smiliansky, due to rising fuel costs, “Ukrposhta” is increasing the rate for courier delivery by 5 hryvnias. However, the 50-hryvnia rate remains the most affordable on the market and is the same for both urban and rural areas.
